In addition to the Director, KFN has five full-time research positions. All other researchers are financed with outside funding.

KFN is also able to grant doctoral and postdoc scholarships to highly promising young researchers.

A lean and efficient administration consisting of a managing director, an IT department, a librarian and three permanent secretarial positions makes for speedy and unbureaucratic support processes.
