31st German Prevention Congress

15. April 2026

The event took place on 13 and 14 April in Hanover and once again served as an important platform for discussion, networking and new ideas relating to prevention and social cohesion

We were delighted to be represented by two presentations: Dr Farina Rühs, Arne Dreißigacker and Philipp Müller spoke about aggression and violence in a political context, whilst Isabel Henningsmeier and Arne Dreißigacker presented findings from a research project on the prosecution of hate crime.

We were also particularly delighted to catch up with many former KFN researchers – meeting them in person is and always will be something very special!

Another highlight: the DPT will continue to be held in Hanover over the next nine years, and we are already looking forward to being part of it in the future.
