Commemorative publication presented to Bernd-Dieter Meier

On 3 October 2025, Prof. Dr. Bernd-Dieter Meier of the University of Hanover turned 70.

Mr Meier has been a long-standing member of the KFN and served as chairman of the KFN e.V. for several years. Since 2020, he has been contributing his expertise as a member of the KFN Board of Trustees. On the occasion of his 70th birthday, Mr Meier was presented with a commemorative publication during a ceremony on 1 November 2025. It is entitled ‘What works? Criminology as part of criminal law science’. The publication, which appeared in Nomos-Verlag (What works? Criminology as part of criminal law science – 978-3-7560-1823-9 | Nomos), pays tribute to the impressive work and achievements of the jubilarian through numerous contributions from colleagues and companions. The KFN was happy to contribute to the commemorative publication in gratitude for Bernd-Dieter Meier’s outstanding commitment to our institution. The KFN congratulates the honouree and looks forward to continuing to work with him!
