Insights from the Call to Action Annual Partners Meeting in Oslo

19. October 2026

Last week, our colleague Dr. Anne-Kathrin Kreft and her collaborating partner Dr. Karin Johansson Schaftenaar had the opportunity to observe the Annual Partners Meeting of the Call to Action, a global network of states, international organizations and NGOs committed to a concerted approach to protection from gender-based violence in humanitarian emergencies.

The two researchers obtained valuable insights into the complex challenges facing both donors and implementing organizations that will contribute to enriching their ongoing research.

A sincere thank you to the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs for hosting the event and to the Call to Action Secretariat for the excellent organization!
