Five weeks after publication by Nomos Verlagsgesellschaft, we would like to draw attention once again to our study on the criminal prosecution of hate crime.
The results show that there are still various challenges to be overcome, both in the investigation of hate crimes and in the application of the amendment to Section 46 (2) sentence 2 of the German Criminal Code (StGB).
Initial feedback emphasises that the results are of great importance not only for academia but also for practice.
