Conference on the evaluation of the Prostitute Protection Act

The Institute for Criminal Sciences at Georg August University in Göttingen and the Criminological Research Institute of Lower Saxony cordially invite you to attend the symposium ‘The Prostitute Protection Act under scrutiny – On the results of the legally mandated evaluation’.

The conference will take place on 1 September 2025 in the Adam von Trott Hall at Georg August University Göttingen (Wilhelmsplatz 3, Alte Mensa, 37073 Göttingen). Participation is free of charge, but binding registration is required by 31 July 2025.

The evaluation report by the KFN and the two accompanying expert opinions by Prof. Dr. Dr. Hauke Brettel, University of Mainz (On Voluntariness in Prostitution), and Prof. Dr. Elke Gurlit/Niklas Spahr, University of Mainz (Building Law and the Prostitute Protection Act), were published by the Federal Ministry of Education, Family, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth.
